Hi, I'm Maegen, the creative mind behind Hand Dyed in Tejas. I'd like to share with you how this journey began.

I used to be a hair colorist, but when I became a stay-at-home mom, I felt the need to keep my creative juices flowing. That's when I started experimenting with tie-dye clothing for my daughter. It was my way of staying connected to my passion for colors and design.

As I delved deeper into this world, I discovered the captivating ice-dyeing technique. I became absolutely obsessed with mastering it, spending countless hours perfecting my craft.

Soon, my practice pieces began to pile up, and I realized that I wanted to share my creations with others. That's when Hand Dyed in Tejas was born.
